Dom leads off by welcoming in Former U.S. Congressman Keith Rothfus to the Dom Giordano Program to hear of his relationship with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who plans to announce a Presidential run this evening. Rothfus, who entered into Congress as a freshman alongside DeSantis, spent many years working with the politician and tells Giordano why he believes DeSantis would make for a great President. Then, Dom and Rothfus hop into a debate over DeSantis’s stance on some of the most important topics to voters, with both offering countering opinions on DeSantis’s 6-week heartbeat bill. Rothfus explains that the Florida legislator and voters wanted this, and suggests that DeSantis may have a different stance in a general election when determining what’s best for an entire country instead of just his state.
