Kermitment - A Muppets Podcast

This week, we're talking about The Jim Henson Hour and that's all well and good, but the big story here is that we're joined by the legendary Danny Horn, founder of Tough Pigs and Muppet Wiki, and a person without whom Kermitment coulnd't exist! We talk about his early days making Muppet zines, the monumental websites he's founded, and his future in the Muppet fandom! It's a good one! For the first time in a LONG time, we're starting a new show! It's The Jim Henson Hour and it doesn't have a single baby anywhere in it, at least so far. But does that mean it's any good? We'll see.......

This week we're joined by Tough Pigs writer, podcast host, and Sesame Street expert Becca Petunia to talk about more of Sesame Street anniversary specials. These fools LOVED celebrating their anniversaries with self-congratulatory specials! Thanksfully this time we've got Becca on to fill in the gaps and tell us all the stuff we don't know about Baby Natasha and Rodeo Rosie!

If you need more Becca, check out A Prarie Dawn Companion on Tough Pig's podcast feed and Here Comes Tomorrow, a podcast exploring Grant Morrison's excellent X-men comics run!

We completed anohter lap around the Earth, though a little slower and closer to the Reaper's cold grasp. Time to celebrate with some truly terrible puppet-based TV shows and then upload our conversation about them to the internet in a pathetic bid for immortality!

We actually watched some stuff this episode! Of course, it's a bunch of newly-surfaced stuff from years we've already covered, so it doesn't actually move us foreward in our Kermitment in any way and in fact prolongs it BUT still. Join us as we celebrate the life of MuppetVision 3D with some cool interviews and footage of the opening day parade, and also we watched some dumb stuff for babies. And Gene Shalit is here too for some reason.

So this week... we're playing Dungeons and Dragons, but with Muppets! And we brought some of Kermitment's best friends along: Songsmith Tuna Metesh, Classic Guest Nick Jenkins, Podcast Royalty Ceri Riley, and Introducing Aimee Roberts!

It's a pretty big, weird swing but it was lots of fun to put togehter! If you like it, please let us know and we'll do some more! And if you don't... be kind!
