What are some goals that you have for the new year?

We have tons of people in my home right now, and the conversation was "Don't set goals, therefore I'm not going to fail". We've had a lot of conversations about goals, resolutions, what this next year is going to look like, and it's been really fun.

What do we want out of this year?

Collaboration is currency, this is not just about me and my family. I'm also not a doctor, but I've learned a lot over the past seven and a half years. I've shifted my mindset from keto to understanding how people's brains work and why they make the decisions that they do.

I'm understanding emotions, mindset, low carb versus keto, and what actually works for people. I will help guide you and give you some ideas of what has helped us. Tomorrow morning, we are officially starting our new book called "Your Divine Fingerprint" by Keith Craft. This is to give you something to think about.

It's been two months going through "Dream It, Pin It, Live It" by Terri Savelle Foy. For those of you who've done the actions, written out their S.M.A.R.T. goals and placed things on a vision board, awesome!

I like to help people understand that there's more to your fat loss than just the food that you put in your mouth. I've been working on my board and I've added some visuals.  You can also do an online vision board. My husband is also creating his vision board in Canva.

We're diving into"Dream It, Pin It, Live It" by Terri Savelle Foy. We've been going through this book since November, and earlier this week our girls started creating their vision boards. We'll be working on our vision boards as we're getting ready to dive into the new year.

We've talked about the "Dream it" part, writing our goals, and the things that we want to accomplish next year. We've talked about "Pinning it", which is the actual vision board. And then "Live it", which means "Action".

I'm going to be making my vision board this week. Create a vision board for what you want next year. This is something fun that you can work with during Christmas vacation with your kids or any time in the next couple of weeks. Yesterday, I talked about being aware of the people that you're around. Be encouraging, smile, and have patience. Bring joy because there are a lot of people that need it.

Sometimes, people feel like...

I don't know if I have a dream.

I'm too old.

I have missed the boat.

I don't, I can't, I don't have...

It's never too late, you're not too old or too young. Money shouldn't play a factor in this because this is about what's truly in your heart and some things that you want to go after. Some would say they don't have the time and resources, for all of those things. I don't want you to think about that right now.

In general, people wait until January to start a New Year's resolution. Some have different goals, and dreams, and want to go after something great. But what happens? It takes a month to figure it out, which means all of January is wasted.

I'm sitting in my car because it's piano lesson time. I actually drove through the crazy snow. My husband was asking if I was going to drive through this snow to piano? Yeah! I was born and raised in the snow, put me in a snowstorm and I'm going to drive because I know how to drive safely and slowly.

I have piano lessons today.

I'm going to CrossFit.

I need to go to the grocery store.

I'm going to talk about snacking and how not to snack so much. It's about eating when you're hungry, and not when you're bored or just because you have the snacks in front of you.
