As you can tell from the title, we have something with hazel...er, filberts in it this week. Ursula is very passionate on the subject of the re-branding of the filbert, and so there is, you guessed it, A Rant. 

We also have shortbread, beer, chocolates, chili-cheese bites, and pretsel spoons. Yes, really, pretsel spoons.

This week, Ursula discovered her grandmother had a husband she wasn't aware of. Frankly, this is no longer unusual, as Ursula's grandmother had an interesting life, and these things happen. 

We also eat things, including a new (to us) quinoa chip, something called a sweet onion chip, and a noodle bowl we can't actually read. There is also beer and cider, a beagle and cats, and all the things you love...

We've been home the last few days due to the snow. But that doesn't stop us from eating things we shouldn't eat. And that includes heat-stabilized meat product, cheap burritos, and even extruded veggie sticks. 

And that is just the begining. But we're excited about it, because after four days of being stuck at home, you would be too.

So the first few weeks of 2014 have been rather busy, between travel, and server upgrades, and more travel. So here is a bit of an interlude, to get you by, until next week. It includes a bunch of stuff we had since the last show for dinner, a new cider, and some snacks.

As we waited in line at the local Co-Op, we noticed something new - Joy Tonic! How could we resist? So in addition to the usual motley assortment of food, we have this little herbal item as well.

So there's that. There is also more from Knorr, fine chocolates, Cosmo mixer, beer, and quinoa. Yes, quinoa.

Ursula found some Crick-ettes at Hot Topic a while ago, and this week we finally open up one of the boxes (yes, there was more than one flavor) to give them a go. We also break into some new (to us) chocolate bars, several snack chips, peppermint popcorn, and even microwave papadums.

Not just one, but two - count 'em! TWO! - kinds of macaroni in this episode. I'm not sure how much shame there is for the makers of these things, or for the chumps who eat them. Like us.
