Here's a myth you can dispel from your mind: you have to be teaching for many years to become a great teacher. To me, a great teacher is one that constantly re-examines how they apply their craft and is empathetic to their student's needs. Sarah Grogan embodies this. 

After working in the city as a stockbroker for 8 years, Sarah left to pursue yoga full-time and after 18 months of teaching is now hosting international workshops and leading retreats.

I first met Jody on a cold dark September morning for his Re-Wilding Man Autumn Equinox. After exchanging pleasantries, some bear hugging and back-slapping, myself, Jody and the crew set off on what was to be one of the most physically demanding and rewarding experiences I've ever had. Since then, I joined his Solstice Soul Event and am looking forward to more adventures with this man in 2019.

People say 'You can be anything you want to be!'. No, you can't. I can't be a horse jockey or a rocket scientist. It's possible that when you complete your teacher training that you could become a full-time yoga teacher if that's what you want, but is it probable?

Elisa is the first guest on The Yoga Life Podcast to make a second appearance on the show. I put a Guest of the Year 2018 poll out to 'The Yoga Lifers' and Elisa was voted numero uno, so her prize is being the first guest of 2019. Who needs a trophy?
