There was a fire set ablaze to the home of the Maps who lived in Stroudsburg, PA. Christine and Julia were found when emergency workers rushed to the scene. It was apparent immediately that this was not an accident. They were hoping to speak to the husband, but he had disappeared. Did Edward Maps do such heinous acts to his only family and flee? In today’s episode, we will talk about two murders that, despite happening just over 20 years apart may be connected because of the connection between the victims. Kimmie Krimm was 14 when her body was discovered on a hillside near a cemetery in McKeesport, PA in 1998. Then, in 2019, her 18 year old niece, Morgan Dunston, was found fatally shot in the South Side of Pittsburgh. Is there more of a connection between these two murders than the DNA that unites them? On the evening of April 29th, 1937 Jerome “Jackie”  Coonon, who was a 2 year old boy, was playing in his grandparents backyard. After that evening, he would never be seen again. Tamara Dawn Porrin was in the 8th grade at DuBois Jr. high in 1986. She was last seen in Clearfield County on the evening of November 22, 1986. Despite known struggles with truancy, fighting with parents, and running away, it was unlike Tammy to disappear for days at a time. Halloween is supposed to be a wonderful night of dress up, candy, mischief, laughs, and fun, yet for Oil City, PA in 1992 this was not the case. Halloween was canceled.  Shauna Howe was abducted 4 days before Halloween after attending a Girl Scouts Halloween party.  Her body was found the day before Halloween.  Shauna's killers were known to the police for years before investigators realized they'd made an error overlooking evidence that could have solved this case a decade earlier. The Battle of Gettysburg was a 3-day long battle as part of the Civil War. From July 3-5, 1863, Union and Confederate soldiers fired, fought, and died for their “side”. In these 3 days alone, over 7,000 men died and nearly 50k were injured. It was the bloodiest battle of the Civil War.
