Life is always full of unexpected twists and turns, but in my life the people who’ve come closest to creating the future they hope for have all shared one common trait. They are all people of will. I know this because I share my life with one of those people.Will, tenacity, discipline, and consistency, these are the traits that work directly against entropy—the universal law that dooms everything to fall apart.Will gives birth to effort, discipline and consistency multiplies the effect of that effort, and tenacity preserves that effort. Unfortunately there is not a one to one correlation between effort and results, but every effort does do something. Every effort plants a seed. Any farmer will tell you there is never a guarantee that any one seed will grow, but plant enough seeds and you can be reasonably certain at least some will grow.And what is hidden in those seeds that do grow?
