"All we have is the present. The past is gone, the future isn’t here yet, and we have this gift called the present." — Audrey Weidman
About Audrey Weidman: In October of 2016, Audrey experienced a life-changing event. She had a heart attack. This flew in the face of her identity as the “model” of healthy living. An angiogram showed that she had no plaque build-up in her arteries – which was a reflection of her healthy lifestyle, but that she had developed a tear in her coronary artery called a SCAD.
After some reflection, Audrey realized she brought the heart attack upon herself. She knew she took care of her body, but didn't take care of her mind and the thoughts she was thinking and realized that the self-talk and stress she put on herself caused the heart attack. This made her realize, without a doubt, that thoughts become things.
Audrey became a Certified Stress Mastery educator with the American Institute of Stress and is a healthy lifestyle advocate working with women who have cardiovascular disease so they can create a balance of mind and body. Heart disease is the #1 killer of women in the Western World and is largely preventable as prevention and recovery start with a healthy mindset.
