ON THIS week's podcast, we chat to Kilbrittain captain Philip Wall as the club sealed a memorable county Premier Junior Hurling Championship win.
The Black and Amber beat Glen Rovers 0-22 to 2-15 in what was a great performance from the West Cork club.
The club won their first county hurling title in 15 years after a brilliant second-half display in particular.
What’s more, they have a Munster JHC campaign to look forward to as they face either Kenmare Shamrocks of Kerry or Knockaderry from Limerick in November.
For now though, they will rightfully bask in the glory after a superb victory.
Also on the show, we talk about Ballinascarthy winning, not just one title but two on Sunday.
Their hurlers won the Carbery JAHC after a 0-22 to 1-16 win over Kilbree while their camogie team completed back-to-back county titles with a 3-7 to 1-9 victory over Sliabh Rua.
The camogie team will be in the second tier of county camogie in 2026 while the hurlers have a county championship to look forward to.
We discuss Munster’s 31-14 win over Leinster in the United Rugby Championship too as Innishannon man Jack Crowley put in a starring display.
