In December 2022 35 year old Anju Asok and her children 6 year old Jeeva and 4 year old Janvi were killed by husband and father Saju Chelavalel while living in Kettering in the UK. Anju and her children were killed by an abusive Chelavalel who thought wrongly that Anju was having an affair. After he had killed Anju he tried to poison his children with a mixture of chocolate and sleeping pills and strangled them to death as well. He is now serving a minimum sentence of 40 years in prison. This is the story of Anju Asok, Jeeva and Janvi Saju. Number 2: Episode 111 - The Blake Family
In January 2016 the bodies of 43 year old Sian Blake and her sons 8 year old Zachary and 4 year old Amon were discovered in a shallow grave in the garden of their home they shared with Sian’s partner and the boys’ father Arthur Simpson-Blake. Former EastEnders actress Sian was living under the control of Simpson-Kent for most of their relationship and had recently been diagnosed with the neurological condition of motor neurone disease. She was getting ready to leave Simpson-Kent and his controlling ways. He discovered this and took his one final, fatal act of control by killing his whole family before fleeing to Ghana. He was extradited and arrested back in the UK where he was given a whole life sentence for the brutal murder of his whole family. This is the story of the Blake Family. In January 2008, four children Hannah, Lindsey, Danny and Ryan were killed by their father and stepfather Lam Luong. He threw them all off the Dauphin Bridge in Alabama. Their mother, 23 year old Kieu Phan was left devastated. They ranged in age from 3 years to 4 months old. Luong was controlling and had substance misuse issues, he saw the children as his property and extension of himself and used them to control and seek revenge on his wife. Having been found guilty of the murders of four children, Luong was originally sentenced to death but is now serving life without parole.
