Today, on Karl and Crew, we kicked off a new weekly theme: Raising the Bar, and we discussed the power of our words.  The scripture reference was Matthew 5:21-26.  How we use our words, when we use our words, and what words we choose to use reflect our spiritual walk and our own heart.  Also, we can hurt not only by the words we use, but by the words we don't say as well.  Teaching us about what it means to have faith as a child was guest, Elizabeth Smith (Program Head of Children and Family Ministry at MBI).  Jon Gauger (broadcaster and author) shared his unique story of how and why he began memorizing the Bible.  You can hear highlights on today's showcast.
