  • S1E10: Earning Trust

"Trust is earned in the smallest of moments. It is earned not through heroic deeds, or even highly visible actions, but through paying attention, listening, and gestures of genuine care and connections."

    - Dr. Brene Brown

Backed by decades of experience producing exceptional clinical outcomes, Kintinu Telerehab connects recovery to everyday life. In this podcast, we explore hot topics in rehabilitation, the keys to personal growth and recovery, and how to apply it all to the real-world.

In this episode of Kintinu’d Conversations, Brad Dexter, Ana Hancock, and Tim Benak welcome Jill Guenther back to the podcast to wrap up the conversation about relationship building with a special emphasis on trust. Jill has been with Kintinu’s parent company, QLI, for a total of 25 years. Within that time, Jill has held several crucial roles that have shaped QLI’s culture and clinical program and has spent much of her career studying and learning about what goes into the skill of “relationship building.” Currently, Jill serves as the Director of Skill Building and is one of the first people to welcome a new team member to the company.

Trust is widely accepted as a foundational aspect of any relationship. Defined as a firm belief in someone’s reliability, truth, ability, and strength, trust has been proven to have a measurable impact on employee culture, productivity, and recruiting. Beyond the work place, building trust translates to positive clinical outcomes as well.

In today’s podcast, listeners will learn about the main components of trust and accountability. Drawing on the work of Brene Brown, our hosts offer actionable strategies for those willing to invest the time, effort, and energy necessary to build trusting relationships.
