Jill is a woman who has followed her curiosity and the circumstances her life has offered her to connect to her soul-led purpose - to help people die well. As a death doula, her work is to help remove the fear and stigma around death and help people through the inevitable process of transitioning. What she has learnt through her work is that becoming comfortable with death enables her to live her life more fully. In this conversation, we discuss the role of a death doula, grief and the regrets of the dying.

How resilient are you? 

Today, Kirsten is joined by The Emotional Archeologist Chelsea Bartell. Chelsea believes everyone is a container for emotional trauma that we've never been given the proper tools to navigate, so we've adapted. As a result, we become susceptible to settling into uncomfortable manifestations of trauma such as addictions, depression, anxiety, insecurity, and many others. Chelsea’s mission is to show up at full capacity and teach others how to do the same.

In this chat, we look into reframing trauma and how, through somatic practices and techniques, we can build a key component to our well-being—resilience. What you’ll hear is that by building this resilience and self-reliance, you can embody the most empowering quality of all—authenticity.

How is your energetic health?

Today, I am joined by Zoe Bosco. Zoe has been on my radar for a number of years. While she has been on her spiritual/energetic journey (and shared it on social media), I have followed along, captured by her wise and beautifully crafted words. Somehow, our paths have never crossed until now.

Zoe and I did not go into this conversation with a plan, but rather a trust in what would come out of it would be what we needed to talk about and what you would need to hear. We surrendered to the energy of the moment. If you are a follower of spiritual or energetic discourse you'll have heard about frequency, timeline jumping and a new earth. With the opening into a new reality,  many people are stepping into the embodiment of a new frequency - the 5D frequency, talking about this shift seems timely. For so long we, as a human race, have existed in a 3D reality - focusing on things external to ourselves to create the safety, purpose and the abundance we seek. A move into the 5D, which is not a new phenomenon as humans have always sensed there is a powerful unseen force circulating within and around us all, is us reversing the focus outward and fuelling from within. From our inner landscape we can connect to the high vibrations of love, joy, gratitude and expand in our oneness. As more and more people move from the 3D to the 5D we all have an important task in exercising our free will - to choose the frequency from which we live and build our lives upon. In this episode Kirsten talks through the 3, 4 and 5D frequencies and the implications from embodying each one.

What makes someone emotionally intelligent? 

Today, Kirsten is joined by Jessica Montague, a relationship expert with over twenty years of experience helping people improve their relationships with themselves and others. She is also the co-founder of the soon-to-be-launched Relatable app. Relatable provides relationship skills and practice for all relationships, big and small, through accessible, bite-sized sessions followed by ways to practice IRL. 

She has a master's in clinical social work from Columbia University and an advanced family and couples therapy certification from the Ackerman Institute for the Family. She’s also certified in emotionally focused therapy and supervises and teaches other therapists. The State of California endorses her as an Infant and Family Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist. 

Today we dive into emotional intelligence looking at what it actually is and how we can cultivate it. We also talk through identifying other people's emotional intelligence and what it means for our relationships.
