Today on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our weekly theme: Gridiron.  We discussed how to know your position, as in knowing your Spiritual Gift and using it well.  Know your gift, then you know your calling!  Our scripture reference was Ephesians 4:11-16.  Karl shared that gift discovery is this 1-2 punch: self-discovery and affirmation.  God can and will direct you into your sweet spot when you move into the community of Christ followers and witness God indeed using your life to lift others.  He offered a resource at www.180chicago.church.  Guests included Former NFL running back, Matt Forte, founder of What's Your Forte?.  We also talked with Pastor Ron Smedley about the growing numbers of addiction abuse and a special event on how the church can help on Celebrate Recovery Sunday, Sepember 27th.  Finally, take a listen to the Karl and Crew Showcast to hear the highlights from today.
