    Another company is about to call Nevada home. "Mary's Gone Crackers" is planning a manufacturing and research facility in the Reno area. The company plans to bring 200 jobs by the end of 2017. EDAWN CEO Mike Kazmierski says its another big win for the region. "Mary's Gone Crackers" is the number one maker of organic and gluten free crackers. The new bakery will be more than 420,000 square feet and will be located in the North Valleys Commerce Center.

The ACLU questioned whether they are constitutional, because some funds could end up at religious schools. The judge says it is constitutional.

    Reno Police have arrested a man following a domestic dispute and a brief standoff in Stead this (Sunday) evening. Police were called to a residence on Mount Lassen Street in Stead shortly before 6:00. They were told that a domestic dispute between a man and woman who lived there had become heated. The woman and some children left the home shortly after officers arrived, however the man stayed inside. There was some concern that he was armed, but about an hour later he surrendered to police without any further incident.

    A suspect in a March fourth robbery is back in custody at the Washoe County jail. Fifty-one year old Kevin Clausen was booked on charges of attempted robbery and murder as well as charges of battery causing substantial bodily harm with the use of a deadly weapon and being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm. He's scheduled for arraignment Wednesday in Washoe District Court. Nancy Moreilli, the owner of the Seven-Eleven at Wells Avenue and Cheney Street, was outside the store going to the bank to make a deposit when Clausen allegedly shot her. Witnesses saw him run down the road to a truck, and Reno police spotted and arrested him not long after.

    Two Fernley residents have been arrested on suspicion of child neglect related to the Friday night disappearance of 8 year old Camron Ritchson. The Lyon County Sheriff's Office booked 24yo William Michael McLean, and 43yo Betty Sue Bond, into the Lyon County jail. McLean's bail was set at $2,500 and Bond's bail was $3,500, which included $1,000 bail on an outstanding arrest warrant. Authorities searched for Camron on Friday night after he was reported missing. They found him healthy on Saturday about a block away from where he was last seen in south Fernley.

    The Washoe County District Attorney’s Office announced today that a Sun Valley man has been sentenced to 5 years in prison for attempting to intimidate a witness to influence testimony. The charge against the defendant relates to a domestic battery case, also prosecuted by this office and underscores the challenges associated with prosecuting cases involving domestic violence and working with victims of abuse. 27 year-old Andrew Mikel Kearney,from Sun Valley was sentenced in Washoe County District Court back in May on one count of Bribery or Intimidation of a Witness to Influence Testimony, a felony.

    A former Nevada mental patient will get a chance to argue in state court, that he was improperly discharged from a Las Vegas mental health facility, and put on a bus to California. A Nevada Supreme Court ruling says James Flavy Coy Brown's negligence lawsuit against Southern Nevada Adult Health Mental Services, several doctors, and state officials is alive. Brown was among several Psychiatric patients who were bused out of state in 2013. The state paid a settlement with San Francisco over the issue.
