Officials with the Douglas County Sheriff's office say they're looking for a person of interest in connection with a series of burglaries in the lower Kingsbury area in Stateline, Nevada. They're asking the public to contact them if they know the whereabouts of Peter Quillian in connection with these burglaries.

A federal judge has given the RTC the green light to begin recording audio along with the video surveillance on city buses in Reno despite objections from the bus drivers' union that says it's an illegal invasion of privacy. Judge Miranda Du says there are no private conversations on a public bus. RTC says audio will help them resolve complaints and provide better customer service, as well as increase safety, allowing them better tools to review incidents or accidents.

he Reno Police Department is notifying the public of several suspicious incidents over the past month. Police have been notified of instances in which women have reported being followed by suspicious subjects. Some of the women say they were with their children at the time of the incident Most of the incidents have occurred in parking lots of large retail businesses during normal business hours. The women have all said they have one or more men following in a suspicious manner. Police are concerned about the behavior, although there have been no crimes reported in connection with any of these incidents. Reno Police are asking anyone who may have information about these incidents to notify Reno Police or Secret Witness.
