The Carson City Sheriff's office says a man was flown to Renown Regional Medical Center last night after he was stabbed on East Long Street in Carson Ciy. Investigators say both people involved in the incident shortly before seven have been interviewed and no arrests have been made. The man’s condition this morning at Renown Regional Medical Center is not yet available. The sheriff's office is not releasing the names of those involved at this time.

Two hundred Nevada inmates may be headed to an Arizona prison. The Nevada Legislature The Legislature approved Gov. Brian Sandoval’s request for over $12 million to send 200 inmates out of state to ease overcrowding at Southern Desert Correctional Center, which will temporarily close 212 beds. New plans also allow the department to send inmates out of state if they are involved in gang activities inside prison walls.

The Pershing County Sheriff's office says a man who broke through security and climbed into the burning man as it burned last night has died. Investigators say 41-year-old Aaron Joel Mitchell was able to break through two lines of security and enter the fire. Black Rock City fire personnel pulled Mitchell from the fire at about 10:20 last night and started emergency medical treatment there before he was airlifted to the burn center at U-C Davis where he was pronounced dead at 6:28 this (Sunday) morning. The sheriff’s office says tests show Mitchell was not intoxicated. Results are still pending for drugs. The investigation into the incident is continuing and trying to determine why Mitchell ran into the fire.

Nevada has run out of drugs for lethal injection, but will turn to a lethal drug cocktail for its next execution. 46-year-old Scott Raymond Dozier is scheduled to die on November 14th at Ely State Prison using a mixture of valium and fentanyl. Fentanyl is lethal and stops the body's ability to breathe. Dozier was sentenced to death after a first-degree murder conviction for the 2002 killing and dismemberment of 22-year-old Jeremiah Miller. The ACLU is continuing its battle against the execution arguing that Dozier is being made a guinea pig. Meantime Dozier is insisting that the execution go forward.
