The Nevada State Democratic Party has filed five new public records requests for communications within the Attorney General’s office and the Gaming Control Board, after they became aware that a recording existed of a conversation last year between Attorney General Adam Laxalt and Gaming Control Board Chairman A.G. Burnett. In April 2016, they say Laxalt tried to pressure Burnett to intercede in a lawsuit on behalf of Sheldon Adelson, Laxalt’s largest campaign donor. The unusual meeting prompted Burnett to secretly record his conversation with Laxalt and then turn over the tape to the FBI. The spokesman for Nevada Democrats, Stewart Boss says, if Attorney General Laxalt wants to clear up his ethics scandal and put this to bed, there is a simple solution: call for the release of this FBI tape. The fact that Laxalt won’t, tells you exactly how damaging this recording must be.

Carson City sheriff's detectives say Eric Buhl is a suspect in the death of two-and-a-half year old girl. Deputies and paramedics were called to a residence Manzanita Terrace in North Carson City on Friday evening to a report that a child had fallen. They found Buhl giving C-P-R to Coahuyana Hernandez when they arrived. Paramedics treated the toddler and rushed her to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. During the search of the home detectives reportedly found a pipe bomb in Buhl's bedroom. The Tahoe Douglas Bomb Squad deactivated the explosive and Buhl was taken into custody and charged with Felony Possession of an Explosive Device and Child Endangerment. The investigation into the girls death is continuing.

DNA evidence has come back from the lab that strongly suggests that a suspect in the Judge Tatro case is a perfect match.
