Reno police are investigating after a body was found in Fisherman's park Saturday morning.

The National Weather Service in Reno has issued a flood advisory today through Tuesday for areas along the East and West Walkers.

Carson City detectives have named Eric Buhl a suspect in the death of two-and-a-half year old girl.

Us Alternate 50 was closed for over an hour this morning, after a roll-over accident near Damon's Curve in Silver Springs around 10 a.m. 3 people where in the car at the time of the accident. The driver was ejected from the car and sustained major injuries. The other 2 occupants were children and their condition has not been released.

The justices Thursday decided to uphold a voter-approved amendment to the state constitution that guarantees a base wage to Nevada workers. The court says federal regulations don't override the state constitution, and that the amendment does not promote arbitrary or discriminatory enforcement. The court found employers have enough notice about benefits they must provide to qualify to offer a lower wage in return for offering health insurance. The minimum wage is currently $7.25 if an employer provides health care, and $8.25 if not.

Carson City detectives are investigating what they say is the suspicious death of a two-and-a-half year old girl yesterday evening. Deputies and paramedics were called to a residence in the 100 block of Manzanita Terrace in North Carson City to a report that a child had fallen. They found a care-taker administering C-P-R to the child when they arrived. Paramedics began working to save the toddler and rushed her to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. No arrests have been made, however the death is being investigated as suspicious. An autopsy is expected this weekend.
