The Washoe County Commission ratified the County Manager's Declaration of Emergency for February flooding, after an emergency item was heard at Tuesday’s commission meeting.

Reno Police are looking for the person who fired shots yesterday afternoon in south Reno. Police first received the call just after 4:30 in a parking lot at Mira Loma Drive and McCarran Boulevard. When they arrived they found a parked car that had been hit with gunfire. Investigators later learned that a dark-colored Mazda was seen leaving the area. No one was injured.
