Reno Police say they're investigating multiple reports of skimming devices found on ATMs. Three devices have been recovered. Multiple additional ATM machines showed evidence that skimming devices had been attached. Skimmers were recovered on ATMs at 7-Elevens on east 2nd Street, South Wells, West 7th Avenue and Pyramid Way. Evidence of other recent skimmers was found on ATMs at 7-Elevens on Booth Street, Lakeside Drive, Summit Ridge Court, East Parr Boulevard at Highway 395, and 15th Street. All have been removed. If something seems out of the ordinary about a card skimmer, do not use it.

Senator Dean Heller has joined the bi-partisan re-introduction of a bill that would streamline the regulations for renewable energy projects. Heller says Nevada is poised for great things when we remove obstacles and let our job creators succeed, and reneable energy is no exception. He says its time for renewable energy companies to be able to compete on a level playing field.

Richard West the 2nd, has made a plea deal, that will drop most of the charges against him, in connection with an illegal prescription drug distribution ring. West is pleading guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, and 12 other charges will be dropped. West could face 20 years at sentencing, a lesser sentence may be more likely. He's been in jail since last April. Sentencing is set for May.
