Nevada has gone from a state confronting bad news daily, to a state that is growing jobs, and diversifying jobs and it's workforce.

A 2 alarm fire tore through a business in Sparks early Tuesday, gutting the building.

The Southwest Energy Efficiency Project and the Governor's Office of Energy are hosting a Nevada Energy Policy Forum this Friday, January 20 and is inviting you to attend. It will be held from 2:30pm-5:00pm at UNR's Innevation Center at 450 Sinclair Street. Policies such as rooftop and community solar, energy efficiency programs, and electric vehicles will be explained by advocates of each policy.
