Police say around 3:55PM Saturday afternoon three people on motorcycles surrounded and shot another biker, while on the highway near the ag-station near Truckee.

Commissioners for the Nevada Department of Wildlife adopted new hunting restrictions on Saturday.

The California Highway Patrol is looking for three people who are wanted in connection to a shooting on Interstate 80 near Truckee.

The Sparks Fire Department was called to reports of a structure fire shortly before 4:00 this (Friday) afternoon at Walton's Funeral Home and Cremations on Sullivan at Greenbrae. Firefighters reported that the blaze started outside the building and moved into the eves. Ultimately seven engines from Sparks and Reno Fire Departments responded to the fire along with three ladder trucks and 43 firefighters. There were no injuries to fire personnel, although one civilian was evaluated by REMSA medics and released. The building has been declared a total loss. The fire is under investigation.

Sparks police are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery at a Bank of America ATM on Oddie Boulevard early this morning. Sparks Police say while the victim was using a drive-up ATM, an armed man approached the victim and demanded money. The male suspect wore a mask, gray hooded sweatshirt and dark blue jeans. He was last seen running toward Silverada Boulevard, and Oddie. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sparks Police Department at 353-2225.

The criminal case is now moving forward in the death of Judy Black. She's the Storey County woman whose death was labeled an accident for one full year after it happened. Now Black's husband is in jail awaiting trial. Brett Black will be back in court again on September 30th to enter a plea. The judge is expected to set a preliminary hearing date at time as well.

A motorcyclist, whose name has not been released has died, after a week after a crash on Parr Boulevard.

September 15th the biker was reportedly speeding on Parr Boulevard and hit a median at North Virginia Street, throwing him off the bike. He hit a passing car. Police say the biker may have been under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. Police want to talk to anyone who saw the crash; they are also looking to speak to the person in a small sedan the motorcyclist spoke with just minutes before the crash in the area of Parr and Talus.
