Sparks Police have arrested a man after a couple of bizarre incidents this (Sunday) morning. Police were called at about 8:20 this morning to a residence on York to a report of a man driving onto front lawn of a residence, walking into the home and shouting. The resident called police, and the man, identified as 29-year-old James Clauser, left the house. About half an hour later Police were called to Tyler on a report that a man had stopped his car in the middle of the street, got out of the car and began yelling. Officers say they confronted Clauser, who managed to evade police in his car. A short pursuit followed, however officers became concerned for public safety and ended the pursuit. A short time later, Nevada Highway Patrol and Sparks Police officers located and arrested Clauser. He's been booked into the Washoe County Jail on two counts of Eluding a Police Officer, Reckless Driving, Failure to stop at a Red Light, and Failure to Obey Stop Sign. He's being held on more than 41-thousand dollars bail.
