  "But anyway, outside of that, like I have emphasized structure this year to start with. Above all else, structure and routine. And partly for the some of the reasons in this video. So the kids and the the idea in part, my students are building good habits through routine and practice. They don't have to think about it. We're just doing it as an everyday week thing. I'm not trying to over explain everything they do our weekly routines."

  "So I do need to do that. We need to set up our first meetings with all these parents, which is a crazy part of this job because they don't really give us enough, real enough time realistically to do everything in this. I think though, because I pretty much have things set up for our slideshow set up for Thursday because it's really a day where the kids walk in and they have the whole period to do their work independently. And I have the skeleton for Friday."

  "Trust in the teachers to make. Trust in the teacher to make us feel secure came from secure. Just the word secure that probably wouldn't be necessarily stemming from support from the teachers that is either more about being part of. Not an open, non judgmental environment. Maybe self security. I gotta check that. So anyway, and so the only word with effective self management is to feel productive. And that's so interesting to me. I don't know this."

  "I have a year of experience under my belt working with this grade to know what the end objectives are and what things might maybe should look like. And part of my aim this year was to get as much to get the most out of as little time as possible in teaching the kids in my structured support class and giving them consistent time for independent work. Today we, we had a little intro question that replaced our, or my original like executive functioning thing. But it was cool."

  "Well, just to start with, this weekend was the first week in a while I was able to take the time on a Friday night I just came home and read. It was generally some like more science stuff but like for school. But it was interesting to be able to sit, do that and like just think and absorb things. It was actually pretty cool and I missed that. You know, my son wanted to turn on the TV and stuff."

  "I'll also tally up their answers to get a sense of like because a lot of the questions are yes, no. There's three, three open response to get a sense of how the class as a whole likes to learn. We do have some of their more official documentation but this is coming straight from the mouth of the students not from tests and evaluations and stuff."
