梁の武帝の頃、コツという武人が南方に出征して、山間嶮岨の地へ入った。

コツは陣中に美しい妻を連れていたが、その地方の人に「ここには鬼神がいて、美女を盗みます。お気をつけください」と忠告した。

コツは妻を厳重に守ったが、二日目の晩、妻は忽然とその姿を消してしまった。

During the reign of Emperor Wu of Liang, a warrior named Kotsu went to the south and entered a mountainous region with steep cliffs.

He had a beautiful wife with him, but the local people warned him, "There is a demon god here, and he will steal beautiful women. Please be careful," he warned.

Kotsu guarded his wife with great care, but on the second night, she suddenly disappeared.
