ある秋の夜、光長は仕事を休んで、家の縁側で酒をちびりちびりと飲んでいた。

その時、庭の芒から音がして、ひとりの痩せた子供が現れた。

しばらくすると、萩からは太った子供が出てきて、二人の子供が相撲を取り始めた。

One autumn evening, Mitsunaga took a day off from work and sat on the porch of his house, chugging down a few pints of sake.

At that moment, a sound came from the garden and a skinny child appeared.

After a while, a fat child came out of the hagi, and the two children began to wrestle.
