This episode has a smell of success about it. There is an aroma of positivity and friendship in the air as we speak to perfumer Rini, a late diagnosed autistic who owns and runs Wilderness Labs, an award-winning business that sells botanical Solid Perfumes and Lotion Bars. Rini talks about her life and her late diagnosis with such clarity and positivity. There are so many facets to her journey that others will associate with and if you are anything like the hosts, you will be inspired to try making your own perfumes or at least smell the world with a different nose.

On this episode we dispel the idea that we need to return to better days. For an autistic person this is not a sensible or likely solution. We read a brilliant article from Kristy Forbes and look at common issues that autistic people experience when trying to just get life done.
We have another excellent review by Party Pooper Sonja on attending a concert as an autistic person.
Dan is doing Steptember (2023), you can donate here if you hurry.

This episode we speak with Occupational Therapist Charlinda Parsons. For anyone late diagnosed autistic or ADHD this is an incredibly informative conversation that provides insight into why an adult needs an OT just as much as any other age.
Bianca and Dan round off the episode with a deep dive into laughter and wait around for a new song from Dan that encapsulates the discussion with a strong kick drum.

On this episode we get to speak to Nicholas McMahill. We have been following his journey on Facebook for a while now and have been so impressed by how much he has achieved in such a short time since being diagnosed Autistic. He is a Special Olympics athlete, a podcaster, YouTuber and is a strong neurodivergent advocate in his community. Dan and Nicholas have a great chat and lots of laughs.
We also have a HUGE announcement that is sure to provide huge relief to the party poopers. And of course, we have Text Fuckups, Recommendations and Autistic Moments.
You can find Nicholas Mcmahill here as well as Nicholas' Journey here.

On this episode we discuss the merits of Dan's newly coloured beard against the legitimacy of Barbie with the help of the amazing Blindboy Podcast. Dan is given a new role at work which a lot of our Party Poopers will appreciate. Most importantly we get to speak to Dan (and Bianca's former) psychologist Laura Addabbo. For anyone about to go through the process of getting diagnosed be sure to check this one out. We get a fly on the wall experience of the process a psychologist goes through to determine whether you are Autistic or not, it really is an eye opener.
Get ready for another installment of Who Know (Laura) Better, we have another round of Text Fuckups, Recommendations and an Autistic Moment.

Thirty episodes, we are so proud of ourselves. And what an episode we have for you all. We speak to everyone's favourite actor and star of Love on the Spectrum, Micheal Theo. It was an absolute thrill for us, and we had such a fun conversation with him. This is not your boring typical interview. Michael gets to show his amazing acting chops and character voices with us as well as telling us all about what he has been up to. Michael shares some of his favourite tv shows and we get a exclusive glimpse of some rare items in his personal collection. We also start a new interview segment called 'Who Knows Michael Better' which was so much fun we will be using it again for other interviews.
Strap yourselves in because Michael does not disappoint.

This episode proves to be a difficult challenge for Dan as he opens up about his body dysmorphia. Dan, always the resilient chap, drops his guard and invites listeners to share his difficult journey from shame to revelation and hopefully acceptance. Please note this episode deals with eating disorders and may be triggering for some.
The episode also has its lighter moments, such as Bianca's shock at discovering her happiness bubble has been popped. She reflects on how her comfort and solace has been compromised with reality. Listeners will gain insight into how she copes with daily struggles and embraces the joy that autism brings to her life. Also has Bianca set up some kind of meth lab? Thats what the Chemist thought!
Also enjoy our regular segments such as Text Fuck Ups, Recommendation and Autistic Moments. And PLEASE for the love of Cod help Dan with his Facebook messages issues. Please send feedback.
Our recommendation this week is The Art Of Frugal Hedonism by Annie Raser-Rowland, Adam Grubb. Also the incredible documentary The First Inventors on SBS On Demand.

Dan realises he has an apology to make, which is excellent timing given this weeks topic is about friendships. Bianca and Dan delve into their past to try and make sense of friendships lost and maintained. This is without doubt the most Autistic episode that has been recorded. Friendships are hard!
