The world has changed drastically in the past three decades. Technology has taken over our lives. In-person conversations have been substituted with texts and zoom calls. People's lives have become so hectic and fast-paced that finding time for loved ones requires top calendar management skills. The idea that spending time with other people requires too much time and money it's so widespread that it started affecting family traditions and the creation of legacy. What we lost is the concept of simplicity and living in the moment. Fulfilling a family tradition doesn't require money or time. It just needs the willingness to make other people happy. Don't think about the buts or ifs; just do it. Create a legacy that transcends time and helps create meaning in other people's lives. 

Today's guest, Ann Marie Smith, will tell us about her passion for reading and helping others, what her previous books were about and why legacy and family traditions are so important. 

Ann Marie Smith is an award-winning professional and entrepreneur. In 2019 she also became an international best-selling author. Ann Marie has landed coverage in print and broadcast outlets worldwide, including Telemundo, CBS, NBC, ABC, I Heart Radio, and, most recently, Success Today. In addition to her extensive background in education and business, she recently earned her California contractor's license to pursue her goal of building custom homes for at-risk members of her community. Anne Marie's latest book is called Leading with Legacy.
