  • 47. How to Become an Anchor in Adversity of Thoughts, Pains, or Triumphs

A daily stoic exercise is to be grateful for waking up and having another day. Some less fortunate than you cannot say the same. Remember that only your thoughts and actions are in your control, and that you must protect your time and contribute to your happiness as these are the only things that can make life worth living when you have nothing else. For example, if you’re young and broke, but you love to paint, buy that expensive paint set because it’ll make you happy rather than wasting your time doing something else or buying a Louis Vuitton wallet or bag because you’re trying to show off to people that are trying to pull the same facade as you… nobody cares. Especially the people who truly are successful, "rich" and understand life, all have reached a level of stoicism to some degree.

  • 43. This is the episode you NEED for the rundown on Imposter Syndrome

"I don’t believe we express imposter syndrome because we are not who we think we are, I believe we express it because we think others think we are not who we think we are" - Shiva Dhanasekar. A thought of mine inspired by Charles Horton Cooley, an American Sociologist. Why do we feel like we are not who we are? Why are we afraid of being judged? All this and more discussed on this small talk episode. If you like the quote, follow my twitter and instagram for more quotes by me and others!
