وہ خاص طور پر اپنی آواز کی تکنیکوں اور بلند آواز سے جوش و جذبے کے ساتھ گانے کے لیے مشہور ہیں۔

وہ پہلی بار میوزک میں تب گرفتار ہوئے جب انہوں نے پی اے ایف کالج، لاہور سے میٹرک کیا، لیکن اپنے فن پر دل لگا کر توجہ دینا اس وقت تک نہ شروع کی جب تک انہوں نے پنجاب انسٹیٹیوٹ آف کمپیوٹر سائنس میں داخلہ نہ لے لیا، جہاں سے انہوں نے کمپیوٹر سائنس میں بیچلر کیا۔

اس سکول میں پہلی بار موسیقار گوہر ممتاز سے ان کا سامنا ہوا۔

انہوں نے کالج اور علاقے کے کچھ ریستورانوں میں ہی اپنے فن کا مظاہرہ کرنا شروع کر دیا، اور جب ان کو اپنے بَینڈ کے نام کے لیے مجبور کیا گیا تو انہوں نے "جَل" نام کا انتخاب کیا۔

مل کر، کچھ تسلیم شدہ اور معروف موسیقاروں کی مدد سے، انہوں نے گیت "عادت" ریکارڈ کیا۔

موسیقی کی ویب سائیٹس پر ان کی شہرت پھیل گئی اور انہوں نے گیت کے لیے ایک ویڈیو بنائی۔

نغمہ کی مقبولیت نے پاکستان میں ان کے موسیقی دورے کی قیادت کی.

اسلم کا جل پری کے نام کا پہلا البم فوراً ہی معروف ہو گیا، اور بالی ووڈ اور ہالی ووڈ کی فلموں میں ان کے کچھ گیتوں سے انہیں بین الاقوامی شہرت ملنا بھی شروع ہو گئی۔

ٹیم پاکستان کے کپتان کے طور پر وہ ٹی وی ٹیلنٹ شو سُر کشیترا میں بھی آئے۔

Atif Aslam is a singer, actor, and dancer who made his film debut in the 2011 movie Bol, which was one of Pakistan's highest-grossing films of all time.

He is particularly known for his vocal technique and the belts out songs.

He first became captivated by music while matriculated at PAF College in Lahore, but he didn't start focusing on his artistry in earnest until after he started attending the Punjab Institute of Computer Science where he earned his Bachelor in Computer Science.

It was at this school where he first encountered composer Gohar Mumtaz.

They began performing at their college and some restaurants in the area, and when pressed for a name for their band, they chose the name ""Jal.""

Together, they recorded the song ""Aadat"" with the aid of a number of established and well-known musicians.

Their fame spread through music websites and shot a music video for the song.

The song's popularity led to their musical tour of Pakistan.

While on tour, Aslam and Mumtaz experienced personal issues which resulted in a loud verbal quarrel.

Following the personal strife between them, they went into an indefinite hiatus without even announcing it to their fans.

Aslam began his solo career during this time, while Mumtaz continued to perform using the name ""Jal.""

Aslam's first solo album entitled Jal Pari was an instant blockbuster, and he went on to find international fame as well, with some of his songs being used in Bollywood and Hollywood films.

He also appeared on the TV talent show Sur Kshetra as Team Pakistan captain.

بَینڈ وائیٹل سائنز ایک راک گروپ تھا جو غیر رسمی طور پر 1983 میں پاکستان میں تشکیل دیا گیا۔

گروپ کو ناقدین سے بے پناہ خراج تحسین ملا اور یہ پاکستان کا پہلا کاروباری مشہور بَینڈ بن گیا۔ وائیٹل سائنز نے یونیورسٹیوں کے کیمپسز اور پاکستان بھر میں خفیہ راک سٹار کنسرٹس میں گا کر اپنا وقار کمایا حتٰی کہ پاکستان ٹیلی ویژن کی نگاہ ان پر پڑی۔

ان کے اکیلے گائے گئے معروف نغمے ""دل دل پاکستان"" کی موسیقی کی ویڈیو ٹی وی نیٹ ورک پر چلائی گئی جس سے بَینڈ میں لوگوں کی دلچسپی بڑھی۔

یہ بڑی افسانوی بات لگتی ہے کہ بی بی سی ورلڈ نے ایک غیر سائنسی پول کے ذریعے اسے تیسرا مقبول ترین گیت پایا۔

اکیلے گائے جانے والے پہلے گانے کے معروف ہونے کے بعد، وائیٹل سائنز نے اپنا پہلا البم جاری کیا جسے وائیٹل سائنز 1 کہا گیا۔

تاہم پہلے البم کے ریکارڈ ہونے سے پہلے ہی رہنما گٹارسٹ نصرت حسین نے چھوڑ دیا اور تجویز دی کہ سلمان احمد اُن کی جگہ لیں۔

پہلا البم جاری ہونے کے بعد احمد نے بَینڈ کی موسیقی کے انداز میں تبدیلی کا مشورہ دیا، لیکن حیات نے اس وقت احمد کو الگ کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا جب پیپسی والے اپنی مصنوعات کی تشہیر کے لیے ان کے پاس آئے۔

احمد نے بَینڈ کو چھوڑ کر اپنا ذاتی بَینڈ جنون بنا لیا۔

گزرتے وقت کے ساتھ ساتھ سالوں بعد حیات اور عامر زکی، جس نے کسی وقت بَینڈ میں رہنما گٹارسٹ کے طور پر شمولیت اختیار کی تھی، کے درمیان ہونے والے تنازع سے بَینڈ ٹوٹ پھوٹ گیا، نتیجۃً حیات کو گروپ چھوڑنا پڑا۔

سالوں بعد جب پیپسی والے انہیں ایک اور البم کا کہنے کے لیے لوٹے تو وائیٹل سائنز بکھر چکا تھا، لہٰذا روہیل نے انکار کر دیا۔

The band Vital Signs was a rock group unofficially formed in Pakistan in 1983.

Rohail Hyatt, who plays the keyboard, and bass player Shahzad Hassan, were classmates at Peshawar University.

They founded the band together, although they did not come to a consensus on the name for the band until years later, nor did they recruit others to officially form a band until 1986.

The group received critical acclaim and was Pakistan's very first commercially prosperous band.

Vital Signs built their prestige by playing on the campuses of universities and in underground rock concerts throughout Pakistan until Pakistan TV noticed them.

The music video of their hit single ""Dil Dil Pakistan"" aired on the TV network and stimulated interest in the band.

Anecdotally, BBC World found the song to be the third most popular song ever through an unscientific poll.

After the first hit single, Vital Signs released their first album called Vital Signs 1.

Before the first album was recorded, however, lead guitarist Nusrat Hussain left and proposed that Salman Ahmad replace him.

After the release of the first album, Ahmad advocated for a change in the style of the band's music, but Hyatt decided to isolate Ahmad around the time Pepsi approached them about them endorsing its products.

Ahmad ended up leaving the band to form his own band, Junoon.

Gradually over the years, the band broke apart, with most of the turbulence coming after a dispute between Hyatt and Aamir Zaki, who joined at one point as lead guitarist, caused Hyatt to leave the group.

Vital Signs disintegrated over the years until when Pepsi returned to ask them to do another album, Rohail declined.

خان کو عموماً ایک ایسے شخص کے طور پر جانا جاتا ہے جس نے صوفیانہ موسیقی کو دنیا بھر میں متعارف کرایا، اور اسی وجہ سے انہیں ""شہنشاہِ قوالی"" کا خطاب دیا گیا ہے۔

انہیں یہ اعزاز بھی حاصل ہے کہ وہ ان لوگوں میں شامل ہیں جنہوں نے موسیقی کی ایک صنف ""عالمی موسیقی"" کی بنیاد رکھی۔

عالمی موسیقی برقی موسیقی کی ایک صنف ہے جس میں دنیا بھر سے موسیقی کی مختلف اقسام، بشمول تمام روایتی موسیقی، علاقائی موسیقی اور موسیقائی انداز تک شامل ہیں جن سے ثقافتی موسیقی کی ایک سے زائد اقسام کو یکجا کیا جا سکتا ہے۔

خان نے پہلی بار سولہ سال کی عمر میں ایک مذہبی تقریب، جس کا اہتمام ان کے والد نے کیا تھا، میں عوام کے سامنے اپنے فن کا مظاہرہ کیا۔

اپنے والد کی اس بنیادی خواہش کے باوجود کہ وہ کوئی انجینئر، ڈاکٹر یا کسی اور طرح کے پیشہ ور بنیں، انہوں نے اپنے خاندانی ورثے کو جاری رکھا۔

جب خان نے صوفیانہ موسیقی میں اعلٰی صلاحیتوں کا مظاہرہ کیا تو ان کے والد نے با دلِ نخواستہ خان کی موسیقار بننے اور خاندانی ورثے کو جاری رکھنے کی خواہش کو قبول کر لیا۔

1971 میں اپنے والد اور چچا کی موت کے بعد وہ خاندان میں موسیقی کے کام میں استاد بن گئے۔

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was a legendary Pakistani singer who performed predominantly Sufi devotional music.

The illustrious singer is considered by many Pakistanis to be one of the most spectacular voices that has ever been recorded as he had a singular vocal range.

Khan is generally considered to be the one who introduced Sufi music to the world and has been given the epithet ""The King of Kings of Qawwali.""

He has also received credit for being one of the progenitors of the music genre known as ""world music,""

""World Music"" is an eclectic genre that includes a variety of different types of music from all parts of the world, including everything from traditional and ethnic music to music styles which fuse more than one type of cultural music style together.

Khan first performed publically when he was sixteen years old at a religious observance put on by his father.

He was the first son of musicologist, singer, and instrumentalist Fateh Ali Khan, and he had a very musical lineage as his family had been performing Sufi music for nearly six-hundred years.

He carried on the legacy of his family despite his father's initial desire for him to become an engineer, doctor, or other type of professional.

After Khan demonstrated a high level of aptitude for Sufi music, his father acquiesced to his desire to be a musician and continue the family heritage.

In 1971, he became the leader of the family music business following the deaths of his father and one of his uncles.
