Lesser Known Somebodies

I chat to American comedian Jessica Michelle Singleton whilst on her travels through South Africa. We share insights into the differences in our industries which is really cool because she comes from another part of the world! I become a comedy nerd and she relates stories when she was an Uber driver. Good podcast! Enjoy

Finally got my journalism crush and excellent Huffington Post Engagement editor Shandu Mulaudzi! We speak about a date we went on and our past experiences doing a journalism course and how I broke up a Whatsapp group with 250 journalists...

I sit down with Jason Adriaan who is a Tech Guru and can be often seen on ENCA news channel (Because he also a top dog in that building). He is also a technology consultant who specializes in web based applications. Listen to us talk about him selling coins online and his failed business ideas. This guy has been making apps since he was in his teens and he may be the younger brother to comedian Alfred Adriaan...but he is definitely interesting!

I spoke to Nicholas Goliath on this podcast thus completing the collection of Goliaths belonging to their comedy empire. Hear us discuss working in a call center, writing jokes, a crazy night in Bloemfontein, chasing cops and lots of other good and funny stuff.

Podcast is back (AGAIN) and I speak to comedian Prins aka Virgil Prins. Generally the comedians I speak to have another side to them and Prins is no different. Hear how this Bachelor of Commerce and Law student found comedy. He started via improv (Which is a pet peeve of mine) and has now travelled the world performing his craft. Hear funny stories like him working as a teacher and not getting a job even though he had a prestigious degree.

Kate Goliath is the boss lady of comedy especially for the Goliath brand. Hear her story and our discussion. We talk about the industry, starting out, managing acts and then we speak about a funny Facebook group she is a part of! Also listen to this AMAZING violinist!

I sat down with my close friend Eugene Khoza and we spoke about a vast amount of things! I hope this description is vague enough because...This is the lost Eugene Khoza episode and I can't remember what we exactly spoke about...All I know is that I enjoyed recording it and thus you will enjoy what we speak about!

I speak to young comedian Eric Jansen about all things comedy but more importantly what the journey of a young comedian involves. It is a long lonely journey but if you are interested in comedy then you will be interested in the person who I define as the blue print of an up and coming comedian starting out in a volatile industry.

Back from a short hiatus! Listen to what I think is one of the best interviews I've done to date! i speak to radio producer Brad O'regan, if you don't already know him, he helps produce the Breakfast Xpress show on Gauteng based radio station 947. Brad is talented and funny and the majority of this podcast is about how much shit you should eat (figuratively and literally). But we also speak about radio, the other jobs he has done and Tahini. Also we get another great voice message from Louise! Enjoy!

Glen is one of the most proactive and enigmatic individuals I know. Listen to us give health tips with our diet plans, Glen does a few mean impersonations, we speak about the loss of his mother, his excellent YouTube show and debate stuff about a voice note sent to us by a friend of the show! Enjoy!
