Lesson 164: Nourish Your Mind
It all starts with your mind. The mind is a superpower so make sure you take good care of your mind. The things you consume matter a lot. The more awesome things you take in, the more awesome you'll become. The more shit you consume... exactly.
PROMPT: What did you do today to nourish your mind?

Lesson 163: Nourish Your Body
We only have this one body to live in till we die. I'm not a nutritionist or a dietician. I do know that water is good for you and when it comes to us as human beings, what works for you doesn't work for everyone so use what works for your body, what makes your body function at its optimal. I do know that water is good for you as I said earlier so always have water. Often.

Lesson 162: Project Confidence In Everything You Do
Confidence is sexy. Here's the thing about confidence, it builds on itself. So even if you have just a tiny bit of confidence, the more you push forth in a confident state, the more your level of confidence grows. It isn't even about faking it, it's about focusing on that tiny thing you can do and then building on it. I can write. Awesome. Well, how can I use my writing to open doors? Maybe I'll write for companies or people I admire and respect. Build on that and next thing you know, I'm the one everyone is reaching out to when it comes to writing. The level of confidence when I wrote that first article versus my hundredth article will have a stark difference.
PROMPT: What ways do you project confidence?

Lesson 161: Work To Bring Your Dreams To Life
Dreams can come true
Look at me babe, I'm with you
You know you gotta have hope
You know you gotta be strong
That's the super awesome song by Gabrielle. I really do love it and believe that dreams can come true. However, for the dreams to come true, we have to put in the work needed to make the dream come through. One my thing, it's a direct relationship between the size of your dream and the amount of work you have to put in. The larger the dream, the more the work. How bad do you want that dream to come true? If you want it bad enough you have to be willing to work hard.
PROMPT: How much work are you willing to put in to make your dream come true?

Lesson 160: It's Ok To Have Massive Dreams
If you dream, make sure it is super huge, supermassive! The dream should scare you. The thing is the scarier your dream, the more work you'll have to put in. Now, even if you don't get to that dream, you'll achieve a lot more than if your dream was mediocre. Dream big. Dream Massive.
PROMPT: What is a massive dream you have? What are you doing to make it a reality?

Lesson 159: Do Not See Stars where There are Just Fireflies
If you look at them from a weird angle, they might look like stars but fireflies are not stars. Not at all. When we try to convince ourselves that one thing is something else, or we try to sugar coat things, we are just setting ourselves up to fail. It's best to just face it straight up and own it. When you call it what it is, you can quickly do what you need to do to correct things.
PROMPT: When was the last time you sugarcoated an experience? What was the experience? Why did you sugarcoat it?

Lesson 158: If It's That Important, Quit Tomorrow
I said to quit early but I did say you should know the things you can quit on. Here's the thing though, there are things we just can't quit on. Sure it might be difficult but what I tell myself is, let's do what we can today and we can quit tomorrow. When tomorrow comes... rinse and repeat. Keep pushing it to the next tomorrow till it's done. It works.
PROMPT: What did you want to quit on today but decided to keep going? Why?

Lesson 157: It's Ok To Quit Early
The world, gurus, coaches have made it seem like a bad thing to quit. There might be times quitting isn't the right option but that isn't always. There are times we have to quit. The project might just not be the right fit. There's no need to push hard and stick it out to see how things go. It's ok to stop, quit and move on. The longer you hold on, the more sunk cost fallacy will set it. It's ok to quit early. Take the lesson and move on.
PROMPT: What did you quit on today? Why?

Lesson 156: Listen More. Speak Less.
We need to listen more especially in a world where we all have our own megaphone right in our hands. We all have an audience. We all have people waiting to hear what we have to share. It feels good, sure but we need to learn to listen more. we need to take time out to do what is important.
PROMPT: How much listening did you do today? What one thing stood out the most for you while listening?

Lesson 155: Know When To Cut Your Losses
Sunk Cost Fallacy is real. Individuals commit the sunk cost fallacy when they continue a behavior or endeavor as a result of previously invested resources (time, money, or effort) (Arkes & Blumer, 1985). Just because we've put in something doesn't mean we should keep putting in more till we get the result we want even though it's evident we won't get that result. We need to learn to cut our losses, take the lesson learned and move on.
PROMPT: How do you decide when to cut your losses?
