We live in a day and age where consumption and arguably over consumption is very normalized. How many times have you purchased something after seeing it endorsed by an influencer? How many times have you yourself bought something not because it’s needed but because it’s “useful” or “makes things easier.” In this episode we explore these ideas and question why we fall victim to over consumption.

Accessibility is something we NEED to advocate for. We are part of a generation that desires change and inclusion and diversity. We often overlook and forget about making sure our environments and information are easily accessible for all users. In this episode we question if we live in an accessible world and discuss why this is a basic right and should not be a privilege.

Pretty privilege; is it a real bias, or have we as a society just made this concept up? Most often seen on social media, there is the argument that those who are deemed "pretty" by societal standards experience privileges related to a range of things from monetary perks to greater ease in the workforce. We're here to debate whether pretty privilege indeed exists, and if so, to also discuss its potential repercussions.

Cancel culture, a force many of us have become familiar with in online spaces, has become a form of online policing of sorts. As members of the social space that is the internet, we have taken it upon ourselves to engage in a culture in which we use the internet and social media as a forum to debate opinions, call out unacceptable views/behaviour, and decide what is right and wrong.
With the concept of cancel culture, however, comes growing debates on its utility to bring about accountability, whether its a form of punishment, and if it's overall a good or bad thing on the internet. With this, the question is, is cancel culture beneficial to cyberspace, or is it harmful?

When we engage in simple behaviours such as putting our shoes on or making our daily morning coffee, we pay little attention to how automatic these behaviours are. The driving force of habits is something we pay little attention to, yet it explains so much of actions we often view as insignificant or just part of our daily lives.
Join us as we break down how and why we are creatures of habit, as we explore the role of habits in our lives as well as the process of habit formation.
