May 18, 2022 Episode 109: Lake Vostok & Organism 46-B
SKIP TO 00:17:00 TO GET TO THE STORY
Welcome to Episode 109: Lake Vostok & Organism 46-B! Underneath Antarctica’s miles of ice, you’ll find approximately 400 subglacial lakes. The largest of these is Lake Vostok, discovered during the Soviet Antarctic Expeditions of 1959/1964 and later confirmed by British scientists in the early 1970s. What makes this lake so special is that it has been covered in ice, untouched, for at least 15 million years. The intense pressure from the ice above creates an environment where organisms can thrive, grow, and live in the liquid water below. According to urban legend, Russian scientists were able to reach the liquid lake through ice core drilling in 2012, and what they found living in the water was so incredible, and so terrifying, that it was immediately sealed and kept secret from the public. Just what is Organism 46-B? Tune in to this episode to find out!

May 04, 2022 Episode 107: The Black Carpet and The Black Diver
SKIP TO 00:07:54 TO GET TO THE STORY
Welcome to Episode 107 of Let’s Get Haunted. This episode, Aly tells the horrifying tales of the two rarest, most little-known cryptids on the internet: The Black Carpet and The Black (or Phantom) Diver.
During the Cold War, the United States Navy began constructing an elaborate underwater grid of listening devices, called hydrophones, throughout the ocean floor. When the grid was later given to oceanographers to use in environmental research, a strange, unexplained noise would be picked up on two hydrophones 3,000 miles apart. Could this noise have been linked to The Black Carpet or The Black Diver?

In November of 2014, the mysterious disappearance of YouTuber and outdoorsman Kenny Veach had the internet in a chokehold. March 30, 2022 Episode 103: Ariel School Aliens aka The Ruwa UFO Incident
SKIP TO 14:00 TO GET TO THE STORY
Welcome to Episode 103 of Let’s Get Haunted! This week, Aly covers the story of the Ariel School Aliens, also known as The Ruwa UFO incident. On September 16, 1994 in the rural town of Ruwa, Zimbabwe (just outside the populous capital city of Harare), over 60 schoolchildren attending a prestigious private elementary school became unwitting witnesses to a supernatural phenomenon. What followed would involve an international investigation with researchers from around the world - including one from the famous Harvard University in the U.S. Did the children really have an encounter of the third kind? Or was it something as simple as the implantation of a false memory by an overeager academic? Dive into this week’s haunting and let us know YOUR thoughts by commenting on the instagram photo dump for this week’s episode.
