In Greek mythology, sirens were dangerous creatures, often depicted as half-bird, half-woman, who lured sailors to their doom with enchanting music and voices. The most famous tale involving sirens comes from Homer’s Odyssey, where Odysseus orders his men to plug their ears to avoid being tempted by the sirens’ song. Sirens embody the idea of irresistible temptation that leads to self-destruction. They represent the allure of something seemingly beautiful or enticing that hides danger. This theme resonates across many cultures and eras, symbolizing how humans are often drawn to things that may be harmful to them. It serves as a reminder of how something seemingly innocuous or beautiful can sometimes conceal risks or dangers, a theme that remains relevant in understanding human motivations and choices.

Nikola Tesla was a visionary, showman, genius imaginative, and misunderstood.

Nikola Tesla was born in Serbia in the Austrian Empire around midnight, between July 9th and 10th of 1856 during a fierce lightning storm. According to family legend midway through the birth the midwife wrung her hands and declared the lighting a bad omen. “This child will be a child of darkness,” she said. To which his mother replied “No he will be a child of light”
