Phoenix Rescue Mission is a Christian nonprofit that exists to share hope, healing and God’s love with all who are hurting in the Valley.

Our mission is to provide Christ-centered, life-transforming solutions to people facing hunger, homelessness, addiction and trauma. 

That mission proceeds through a wide variety of programs that address immediate and long-term needs. Taken together, these advance our God-given vision: Love, hope and transformation to every neighbor in the Valley.

The centerpiece of their ministry is a residential recovery program for men, women and women with children who need help overcoming one or more life-controlling crises. By addressing our guests’ physical, emotional, financial and spiritual needs, they are well-prepared to lead positive, productive lives once they leave the Mission and become a contributor to our community.

The House of Ruth Pregnancy Care Center is a Christian ministry dedicated to serving women and families and to protecting the lives of unborn children. Our goal is to demonstrate the love of Christ by assisting with emotional, spiritual, physical and material needs, enabling women to make healthy, life-affirming choices throughout pregnancy and beyond.​

House of Ruth has deep roots in the Verde Valley. Founded in 1988, thousands of women and families’ lives have been touched and changed by the ministry. Advocating for life of the unborn and strengthening families through loving support and education are the cornerstone of this ministry.

Since 1993, JV has been equipping young leaders to fulfill Christ’s commission through the local church. God is changing lives and he’s changing countries. We are honored to be a part of his mission.

Josiah Venture has grown from three couples in 1993 to over 390 staff members today.

Our staff, over half of which are nationals, are located in 16 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, along with support teams in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Thousands of young leaders are trained each year by our staff, and through those young leaders hundreds of new believers are entering the local church as a result of evangelistic and discipleship efforts.

Venture 1:9 (based on Joshua 1:9) guides your non-profit to a place of courage, health, sustainability and impact, through free training, coaching and granting.
Training events provide more than valuable content. They are gatherings of fellow leaders on the journey where relationships are formed for encouragement, partnership and collaboration. Trainings happen through in-person workshops, roundtable discussions, sprint sessions, and webinar and online experiences.
Coaching is customized for your specific non-profit needs. Topics include biblically-based fundraising and development, organizational and personal leadership, boards, messaging and communication, strategic planning, emotional intelligence, building healthy teams, and more. Coaching is available one-on-one or for your staff and broader leadership team.

Granting is provided by supporters who feel called to infuse specific projects with financial resources to help these projects grow in their reach and impact. Venture 1:9 also directly connects you with like-minded donors, resulting in community partnerships, grants and major gifts. Let’s go!

Mobilize the Body of Christ to disciple and equip incarcerated men and women for victorious Christian living.

Along Side Ministries partners with the local church to make prison ministry a reality in both word and deed.​

Along Side Ministries provides spiritual and practical guidance and support to incarcerated Christian men and women as they transition from prison back to the community and the church.​

Along Side Ministries trains and equips men and women volunteers from the local church to mentor the ex-offender in finding employment, housing, and maintaining accountability. Mentors provide relational support and spiritual guidance.​

Along Side Ministries provides the resources to assist Christian ex-offenders in their re-entry.

Across the world, countless people struggle daily to find clean water.

But even more pressing is the spiritual drought that leaves billions without the hope of Jesus.

Quenched is more than a charity—it’s a movement driven by an unwavering commitment to meet both physical and spiritual needs in regions where clean water and the message of Jesus are scarce. Serving in remote communities, we face challenges head-on, working alongside local leaders to bring hope to those who need it most.

Clean water opens doors for lasting discipleship.

Each well we establish becomes a gathering place where local pastors form lasting connections, fostering discipleship within communities. By meeting physical needs, we also open hearts to the message of the Gospel. As these communities receive water, they also receive the opportunity to encounter Jesus in a meaningful, life-changing way.

The CHE Network, or Community Health Evangelism Network, is an association focused on serving impoverished communities through a strategy that integrates community health and development with evangelism. It trains local leaders to implement CHE principles, enabling communities to develop sustainably by teaching them to help themselves. The network emphasizes holistic development, combining physical and spiritual teaching to improve the quality of life in some of the poorest areas globally.
