It's very clear to anyone looking in, that I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to fashion and making myself look stylish.

I have a wardrobe full of black, white and grey T-shirts and similar coloured shorts and that's the extent of my mixing and matching and I don't venture too far from it.

With that said, I think when you look great and you have clothes that fit well and go with your mood and personality, then you tend to have a more positive vibe and flow about you and this infiltrates your life and the lives of those around you.

Brigitte is someone I've know and worked with for many years and I've always enjoyed the level of energy she brings to any conversation I've had with her and this weeks podcast discussion was no exception.

Brigitte has been through a lot in her life and she brings a very empathetic and caring voice and nature to the room and the people who are lucky enough to spend time with her and I invite you all to join in the conversation I shared with her this week.

February 26, 2023 #219 How I Effortlessly Lost 10kg and How You Can To
I've been on a number fat loss journey's over my life and I've also helped 1000's of people do the same and for the most part I've been successful in not only helping those clients who come to me for help, but also myself.

In 2022 though, I felt burnt out both mentally and physically and decided to completely stop focusing on the food I was eating and instead drive my attention towards the other pillars of health I talk about, being sleep, exercise and performance and time doing the things I love the most with the people I love the most.

Over a 12 month period I had ballooned from a very lean 68kg to a whopping 85.8kg.

This was the heaviest I'd ever been in my life and while I finally felt mentally well and also felt physically rejuvenated, I was unfit, out of breath and feeling like a fat slob.

Now promoting a life of balance, I didn't want to go on a hard core cut that would leave me miserable and fatigued all over again and so I embarked on a new "BALANCE JOURNEY" and decided to document every step of the way on my Instagram stories.

It's now 5 months later, I'm 10kg lighter and I've have never felt better both mentally or physically and on this weeks podcast, I detail every step I took and every up and down I went through, so you to can achieve any goal you aspire to reach for and do it in a balanced and sustainable way just like I did.

There is a tonne of gold in this podcast and I do hope you enjoy the listen!

This weeks podcast is a topic that people usually shy away from and don't want to talk about as it brings up emotions of fear, hurt, loss and sorrow.

However, as I continue to expand the breadth of this podcast and open the discussions up to ALL kinds of people and topics, I embraced this weeks guest and dove into the business and world that is funerals and being a funeral celebrant.

We didn't stop there though and spoke openly and wide on all manner of topics and Luke O'Connell who is a Funeral Celebrant shared his story on how he fell into this profession after many years of being a musician and playing mostly for weddings.

I truly enjoyed this podcast and my chat with Luke and not only did I find out a LOT more information about the business side of a funeral, but also how much of a difference a quality celebrant can make to the experience of what is usually a very sad time for people.

Your first inclination might be to swipe away from this podcast, however I truly hope you give it a listen as there were some wonderful talking points and moments that I know will help you out when it comes time for you to plan a funeral for a loved one in your life.

I know I'm not alone when I share the fact that I get a high level of anxiety when getting on a plane.

I'm a control freak at heart and HATE being the passenger in any vehicle and this feeling's at it's most when traveling by air and in a tin tube held up by physics that they actually can't quite explain but know it works because planes stay up in the air and don't fall out of the sky.

This week I had the opportunity to speak to Captain Cameron Tribe as he shared his tales of travel and what it's like to be a commercial airline pilot.

Cameron also went into detail and answered all of those questions we anxiety ridden, control freaks want to know about flying and whether it truly is one of the safest ways to get around.
