Banning things you don't like is certainly not a new phenomenon.  They've been doing it since humans began writing their shenanigans down.  Apparently it's ingrained in our psyche.  Despite the thousands of years that have passed since the pharaohs made it illegal to question their divine magnificence, humans have yet to evolve on a basic level.  Just enjoy what you can while you can before someone powerful decides it's illegal and bans it.
