Anthony Perera is no stranger to business success. Having started and sold three companies in three different niches prior to starting Air Pros, he knows a thing or two about radically scaling a business. That is why in just 4 years he’s taken Air Pros USA to a $50M per year company with no plans on stopping (soon, with a recent acquisition, will be $100M (!) per year), and was recently named the #1 Fastest Growing Company in South Florida. He has also been named as an honoree in the 2021 South Florida Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Awards. Anthony has a strong belief that it is easier to build a brand than it is to build a business. One of many topics that we will be getting into. Be sure to have your pen, paper and favorite beverage (or three) ready.
How to avoid analysis paralysis.

What is romanticized in modern culture but shouldn’t be?
What is the difference between debt-equity and private equity?

With close to two decades in the HVAC industry, Sam Wakefield has seen it all. Starting out as an attic rat and working on an install crew, he quickly learned he wanted to be on the other side of the table: selling the jobs versus installing them. As many of us feel, he was gripped with fear, doubt, and anxiety of someone rejecting him and telling him no. He invested in himself and changed his mindset to change his circumstances. Now, he fully understands why customers get heated by sales pitches. It took breaking down the process and creating his own sales system. He has personally sold millions in equipment, winning multiple sales awards, and teaching businesses both big and small to sell millions for themselves. Join us as Sam breaks down his “Close It Now” sales system.

Travis Smith is the second-generation owner of Sky Heating, AC, Electrical, and Plumbing, based out of Portland, Oregon. His journey started out with Sky Heating being predominantly (85%) focused on the new construction side of the business, but along the way, they completely changed their model and removed new construction altogether. An interesting move that I am sure will be a topic on the show. Another topic? How to successfully add in additional lines, such as plumbing and electrical. Forever a master of mindset and leadership, today’s show won’t disappoint. Oh yeah, he also owns Oregon Ductless Heroes. So, two businesses, two brands, one roof.

Going to be a great show talking about the challenges and rewards of starting a new business and entering into growth mode quickly.
