We've been told for years and years that genes determine our destiny and what diseases we develop in our life! And it is commonly said that if your parents have had some type of disease, then you HAVE to be careful to NOT get that disease yourself! Epigenetics is the study of how your behaviors and environment can cause changes that affect the way your genes work.

For instance, the belief that high blood pressure or heart attacks or stroke that has been in a family gets “passed down” to the descendants of future generations, when really it’s the subconscious belief and reiteration of inheriting such diseases is what gets passed down OR it's a behavioral way of being, such as not fully opening your heart and suppressing emotions that have created this pattern of high blood pressure. It's also the environment one is raised in that can actually contribute to this because they will have a set of similar behaviors, rooting from the same subconscious belief!

This new type of science is growing in popularity and promise in the scientific world.

It works to see the true potential of the human mind, and the cells in our body, which is AMAZING and we're barely scratching the surface!
