The Democrat governor of Washington state, Jay Inslee, has threatened citizens with jail if they shop for groceries when he doesn’t think they should. When he introduced his new contact tracing policy, he was asked, “When it comes to contact tracing, how are you guys going to handle people who want to leave their home to get groceries? I know you’ve said they can’t do that; how will you make sure they don’t?” According to the Lynwood Times, “For those individuals that don’t comply, the governor stated that he confirmed with Attorney General Bob Ferguson, there will be sanctions in civil or criminal court.” Ferguson is the one who sued a pro-family florist for everything she owns, so when Democrats in Washington talk about locking you up for going to the grocery store, they mean business.

The Proper Role Of Government

Bryan Fischer here with the Life and Liberty Minute. While it may be possible to separate church and state, it’s not possible to separate God and government. This is because God created government and delegated his authority to it to punish crime and to wage war. Paul says, “There is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.” God has given government two main responsibilities: justice and national defense. If someone infringes on our God-given and inalienable rights to life, liberty, and property, it is the job of civil government to pursue justice on our behalf so we do not have to take justice into our own hands. And it’s government’s job to protect us from foreign aggression. That’s why the Bible says civil government does not bear the sword in vain. Let’s pray that our leaders will use this authority wisely.

The Founders believed that “where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” The lockdown orders that keep churches from meeting are unbiblical and un-American. The Scriptures command us in Hebrews “not to forsake the assembling of yourselves together.” You can’t do that online. One thousand pastors in California have pledged they will declare independence from the tyrannical edicts of men and resume meeting with their congregations and with the Lord on May 31. The First Amendment guarantees to us the “free exercise of religion,” not just freedom of belief. No governor can take away a right that is granted to us in the Constitution. May their tribe increase.

Remdesivir Should Not Be The “Standard Of Care”

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Remdesivir, which Dr. Anthony Fauci has already called “the standard of care” for coronavirus, has had only one clinical trial. The morning after this lone clinical trial, the FDA approved Remdesivir for emergency use despite it showing only modest benefits and a shocking list of dangerous side effects, such as multiple organ dysfunction, septic shock, low blood pressure, acute kidney injury, and liver damage. Ten percent of patients showed respiratory failure, ominous for a drug designed to treat respiratory failure. What’s the explanation? Well, follow the money. Remdesivir will make two billion dollars for pharmaceutical giant Gilead if it gets the imprimatur of the Deep State, while the more effective hydroxychloroquine would make zero dollars for Gilead.

Fauci Paid For The Research The Produced Coronavirus

Dr. Anthony Fauci, in his role as head of the infectious diseases bureaucracy in the federal government, gave seven point six million dollars in grants to the Wuhan lab that gave us the coronavirus. He funded research that was designed to take bat viruses which were not transmissible to humans and genetically engineer them until they could infect humans beings. The stated purpose was to create a virus they could study so they could stop it. This research was so obviously risky that Barack Obama terminated it in 2014, and 200 prominent scientists published a statement condemning it as too dangerous because of the possibility the pathogen could accidentally escape and start a global pandemic. Our intelligence services now believe the pandemic was started by a bat virus that escaped from the Wuhan lab.

China Gave Us Coronavirus, Now Stands To Make Billions From The “Cure”

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Coronavirus originated in a lab in Wuhan, China. In a panicked reaction to this virus, the American economy has been shut down and many Americans find themselves under virtual house arrest. Even though hydroxychloroquine - or HCQ - is 91% effective against the virus, if taken at the first sign of symptoms, the medical establishment in America has ignored its own research and dismissed HCQ in favor of Remdesivir, an unproven drug with liver failure as a side effect. Because of U.S. backing, whoever holds the patent for Remdesivir stands to make billions of dollars. The Wuhan lab where the coronavirus originated is applying for a patent to use remdesivir in China. So Wuhan gave us this worldwide pandemic and now may stand to make billions off the so-called cure. What’s wrong with this picture?
