    The way of the lonely 孤獨之路
    (Ecclesiastes 4:4 NLT) Then I observed that most people are motivated to success because they envy their neighbours. But this, too, is meaningless—like chasing the wind.
    傳 道 書 4:4 (CUV) 我 又 見 人 為 一 切 的 勞 碌 、 和 各 樣 靈 巧 的 工 作 、 就 被 鄰 舍 嫉 妒 ． 這 也 是 虛 空 、 也 是 捕 風 。
    (Ecclesiastes 4:7-8 NLT) I observed yet another example of something meaningless under the sun. (8) This is the case of a man who is all alone, without a child or a brother, yet who works hard to gain as much wealth as he can. But then he asks himself, “Who am I working for? Why am I giving up so much pleasure now?” It is all so meaningless and depressing.

But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. (11) Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? (12) A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.

    1. To surrender means giving yourself completely to God, not just parts of ourselves!

    In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.
