2.How Abraham met the blessing of God
Genesis 12:1-3 NIV

(2) “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.(3) I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”
Three truths of Old Testament blessings
A.The greater one blesses the lesser one
Hebrews 7:7 NIV
And without doubt the lesser is blessed by the greater.
1.The blessing is a sign of special favor that is intended to result in prosperity and success
Deuteronomy 28:3-7 NIV
You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. (4) The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks. (5) Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed. (6) You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out. (7) The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.
Numbers 6:24-26 NIV
‘“The Lord bless you and keep you; (25) the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; (26) the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”’

祝福について旧約聖書の真実
大なる者が小なる者を祝福する

１.祝福は繁栄と成功に繋がる特別な好意
申命記 28:3-7 口語訳
あなたは町の内でも祝福され、畑でも祝福されるであろう。(4)またあなたの身から生れるもの、地に産する物、家畜の産むもの、すなわち牛の子、羊の子は祝福されるであろう。(5)またあなたのかごと、こねばちは祝福されるであろう。(6)あなたは、はいるにも祝福され、出るにも祝福されるであろう。(7)敵が起ってあなたを攻める時は、主はあなたにそれを撃ち敗らせられるであろう。彼らは一つの道から攻めて来るが、あなたの前で七つの道から逃げ去るであろう。

３.祝福の中でどのように自分が成長したか

感謝の思いも新たに神殿の門をくぐり、賛美の歌声とともに宮の内庭に入りなさい。さあ、感謝してほめたたえなさい。
ルカ 10:5-9 JCB
どんな家に入っても、神の祝福があるようにと祈りなさい。(6)その家が祝福を受けるに値するようなら、祝福はとどまるし、そうでなければ、あなたがたのところに返って来ます。(7)一つの村に入ったら、あっちこっち家々を渡り歩いてはいけません。同じ家に泊まり、出される物をいただきなさい。ていねいなもてなしを遠慮することはありません。働く者が報酬を受けるのは当然です。 (8-9)喜んで迎えてくれる町では、次のことを守りなさい。出された物は何でも食べることと、病人をいやし、『神の国が、すぐそこまで来ている』と宣言すること、この二つです。
４.次の世代を祝福していこう
ルカ 18:15-17 JCB
ある日のことです。イエスにさわって祝福していただこうと、人々が子どもたちを連れて来ました。ところが弟子たちはそれを見て、じゃまだとしかりました。(16)するとイエスは、子どもたちを呼び寄せ、弟子たちに言われました。「いいから、子どもたちを自由に来させなさい。追い返してはいけません。 (17)神の国は、この子どもたちのように、素直に信じる心を持っている人たちのものなのです。」
