God has a vision for your life: that it would be a distinguished life worth living. Pastor Daniel teaches us that when we love God, love people, pursue excellence, and choose to be life-giving, we can live a larger life today!
When life feels heavy, it can be easy to assume it’s an attack from the enemy. However, Pastor Daniel reminds us that sometimes the weight put on us is an opportunity for spiritual growth.
Pain can be the very gift that brings you closer to God. Pastor Daniel teaches us that when we seek God with confidence and have a willingness to change, He can do the miraculous in our lives.
God gives His followers keys to unlock blessings in their lives. Spotsylvania Worship Director, Berchman Paul, teaches us about the importance of one of these keys – prayer. God’s best for our lives is still ahead of us, but some fruit in our lives can only be accessed through the power of prayer.
2020 certainly brought its share of challenges, but every challenge is an opportunity. Today, Pastor Mitch Rose taught us that we can do more than just go through trials; we can grow through trials. As 2021 brings new tests, we have the opportunity to prove ourselves ready for everything God has in store on the other side of the challenge.
Throughout all of the hardships that have come with this year, Lifepoint Church has continued to be used by God to provide blessing and bring freedom to so many. Today, Pastor Daniel taught that when we give through the local church, our generosity has a lasting impact both locally and globally. Though generosity comes with sacrifice, we can always remember that we are blessed to be a blessing, we can never out-give God, and the more God blesses us, the more He expects of us.
While “you only live once,” may be a catchy phrase, it’s not actually true. As believers, we know that we are living not for this life on earth, but for eternity. Today, Pastor Daniel reminded us that with generosity, sacrifice, and intentionality, we can leave a lasting impact in this life and prepare for the next.
As believers, we are called not only to pray, but to be the answer to the prayers of others. Today Pastor Stephen Chandler taught us that as followers of God, we need to think of ourselves not as consumers but as a distribution center. God longs to answer our prayers so that we can then bless others.
It may be difficult to imagine missing the presence of God. However, when we become preoccupied or complacent, we may do just that. Today Pastor Greg Surratt showed us how even in the midst of difficulty, God longs to pour the oil of His Holy Spirit over us. Though living a life in pursuit of God will cost us, His presence is always worth any sacrifice, and the best is yet to come.
