Success is not something that happens overnight, but one small tweak can lead to giant peaks. Today, Pastor Daniel used the life of Joshua to model how small adjustments can create a big change. When we adjust our perspective, adjust our life to fit God’s word, and adjust our posture toward challenges, we can experience the success and freedom that God always intended for us.
Today Pastor Daniel cast powerful vision for the church. It was a vital reminder that we are God’s plan of hope for the world. We all have a significant calling on our lives as part of God’s family. It is God’s desire for each of us to share our stories, help others reach Him, and find freedom in our own lives.
As our series on relationships comes to a close, Pastors Daniel and Tammie sat down together to speak specifically to those that are single. Life doesn’t begin on the wedding day, but if marriage is the desire of your heart, there does need to be preparation. As we focus on growing in our relationship with God, He becomes the true author of our other relationships. While it can be tempting to wish away our current season, when we trust God and know His voice, we leave space in our vision for His perfection.
In this week's episode of this short-run podcast, our host, Jeremy Pickwell, speaks with four guests, married and single, about the beauty that is found in seasons of singleness, and how to stay connected with one another amidst isolation.
Love is a commitment, not a feeling. Today Pastor Daniel taught on the importance of keeping a promise, specifically in the area of marriage. A marriage commitment means partnering with our spouse in every season, no matter how difficult. If we commit to keeping Christ at the center, continuing to pursue our spouse, protecting our purity, and staying in it together, we can have a thriving marriage.
In the second episode of this short-run podcast, our host, Jeremy Pickwell, speaks with two couples about managing healthy conflict and the importance of clear communication within a marriage.
God designed us to be in healthy relationships, but insecurity can rob us of that gift. Today Pastor Daniel taught about the importance of security. Everyone can struggle with insecurity, but when we take hold of God’s truth we can enjoy truly healthy relationships. In Christ, we have everything we need and our value is found in His perfect vision. In Him, we are fully secure and fully free to engage in meaningful relationships.
In this week's episode of this short-run podcast, our host, Jeremy Pickwell, talks with four friends about the importance of community and how to manage conflict with one another in a healthy way.
God invented relationships and intended for them to be life-giving, but when sin entered the world, relationships suffered. Today, Pastor Daniel taught us that there is a way to do relationships how God intended. Despite the many attacks of the enemy, if we are willing to get to the root issues, we can bear fruitful relationships. When we submit completely to God’s word and seek His grace and wisdom, healthy relationships are possible.
