Each and every full moon comes to illuminate aspects of our lives that we might be missing. Every month, the moon comes to shine her light on all that is in our current reality and allows us to see what might be influencing our lives without us noticing.

The moon connects us to our core; it is what we came here to be. So, as the moon shines her light into the world, she is asking us all to come back to that, back to our truth, our core, and away from the stories we have learned or created about how life works.

Why do you want to be here? 

Have you ever asked the question, why am I here? Ever wondered what the point of life is? Why are we doing it? And why is it really fucking hard sometimes? 

I don’t think we will ever know the answer to those questions because don’t think there really is an answer- not a simple this is it. The world is chaotic, messy, overwhelming, exciting, expansive and everything all at once. There is no way of putting it into words so that we can make sense of life. But here we are.. Living, breathing, experiencing all that life has to share with us. So busy trying to figure it out that often we miss out of life itself… 

What if we could ask the question.. Why do I want to be here instead of asking why am I? What if we could pour our energy into creating the life we truly want to live instead of figuring out why? You are here, you are living so be here.

With judgement comes an idea of what is right or wrong.. When we judgement something or someone we unknowingly create a story that we have to be a certain way or choose a certain thing. With judgement comes separation, the moment we judge someone or something we separate ourselves from it, creating a space in life where we are unwelcome and unaccepted. 

We live in a world of judgement and it isn’t an easy thing to shift but it as you do, the world opens up and allows you more space to be as you are, to be who you are and all that you are. 

Give yourself freedom and begin o notice where there is judgement.

If nothing changes then nothing changes.. 

Is there anything in life you wish was different? Something you would like to change but it just seems to stay the same? 

Change begins in the little moments and it ripples out into our everyday but we don’t have any control over how that change influences our lives. We take a leap of faith, try something new or choose something different and life changes but sometimes this change come with struggle maybe even pain. If we are holding too tightly to how we think it should be, we find ourselves fighting against life and against ourselves. The things about life is that even the smallest of choices creates a ripple of change and our job then is to loosen our grip; allowing it to unfold in whatever it needs to. 

If you are asking for something different but finding that everything feels stuck or heavy or stagnant- take a look at where you are holding tightly hoping that things doesn’t change.

This ceremony that we call life is a fertile ground for growth. Everything that surrounds us is here for us. In every moment we are presented with an opportunity to choose something different or choose something familiar- neither is right or wrong but each choice will have a different reaction and create a different ripple through our reality. 

You can do all the yoga practices, all the medicine ceremonies, sit in all the circles or do all the therapy sessions but the real work sits in the everyday. Those places are there to help us navigate our everyday life differently.

Grandmother Ayahuasca opened a door. She allowed me to see what is possible, what is true and gave me a glimpse into who I really am.. underneath the stories, underneath the pain, underneath the shadows.

If I am honest I went with expectations of her giving me all the answers, telling me what I am here to do and telling me how to do it. How do I be successful? How do I create the life of my dreams? How do I make it happen? I wasn’t disappointed because the feeling she opened within me was magic and what I saw gave my hope that it really is possible. I didn’t know living could feel this good. But since coming home I found myself disappointed that although I had this incredible experience, I still didn’t know how to build to life I wanted or how to make it happen. There are things that still feel challenging and there are things that I still struggle with..

What I didn’t realise is that in that feeling I had all the answers. I had everything I needed to go home and do the work. She opened a door and behind that door I saw what is truly possible but she doesn’t do the work for you. No one and nothing can because your reality is created in the little moment of the every day. What I saw, what I experienced and what I felt is my guide and my compass. In order for that be my reality I have to show up, I have to use the magic of what I have learnt to navigate life and I have to consciously choose that reality in everything that I do. With honesty, courage and a few incredible human beings that help point out to me what I am missing, I can see where I am moving with a story of lack, fear or limits. I can sense when there is space for growth and space for healing. I may not always be able to see it but I can deeply feel it within me because I know how good life can feel and I know what is truly possible.

We all have blind spots, we have shadows, we all have stories that stop us shining brightly into this world. Maybe you can sense them. Maybe you can feel an essence of fear. Maybe you can sense a feeling of being stuck or spinning on a hamster wheel. Maybe you are experiencing conflict. Maybe you keep tripping over the same struggle. Maybe there is heaviness to life. Maybe there is a feeling of being powerless. Maybe there is constriction. The signs for what we are missing are right there in front of us.

There is nothing in this world that can fix you because you are not broken but as a human being with a story and an experience of living on this earth there will be space to grow, to illuminate and heal. We aren’t always able to see it ourselves but its there, often hiding right in front of your eyes.

Don’t be afraid to do the work, don’t be afraid to shine light in those dark spaces, don’t be afraid to ask for support when you cannot see what you are missing. Life truly is filled with magic and it gets to be magical every single day. If there is anything standing in the way of that magic, then my love there is something to shift and something that is asking to be seen. Open the door.

I sat with Grandmother Ayahuasca thinking and believing that I was broken. Something must be wrong with me..

What I experienced was a coming, a releasing of all of what I thought I knew and the stories I had told, an opening of a door to a new way of being and a new world.

Ayahuasca changed my life, she helped me to heal, she helped me to see and she gave me the courage to show up fully and completely as me.

This is my journey, the very beginning of this chapter, the start of something magical. Held within this space is pure magic and wisdom, are you ready to open the door?

Everybody breaks.

We are human beings and there will be moments in our lives that challenge us. Moments that bring us deeply into darkness. Moments that break down who we think we are and what we think we know. Moments where it feels like our lives are falling apart. Often in those moments comes magic, magic that shifts us towards a different life and a different way of being. Often the moments that break us create space for us to welcome something new. These moments remind us of who we are and how powerful we are.

I dare you to say thank you in the face of challenge. I dare you to say thank for the things that felt like they broke you. I dare you to say thank you for the people that hurt you. I dare you to say thank you for the things that fell apart.

This is a story of heart break, healing, magic and coming home. A story that led me to quitting my job, selling my car and landing in the Amazon Jungle, in isolation.. This is a story of my breaking apart and my coming back to home to myself.

Thank you for everyone and everything that led me to this moment on my journey. Thank you to the beautiful human that broke my heart and helped my life fall apart. Thank you to life for guiding me so beautifully back home to myself.

Life is only now. Moment to moment we navigate our way through life. When we can keep both feet in the present we feel what we feel without allowing it to take over. You are human being, you will feel everything, light and dark. The struggle comes when we push our emotions to the side and pretend they are not there, eventually they bubble up or we burnout.

We face hard things but life doesn’t have to be hard.
