Line of Sight

On Episode 101 of Line of Sight, Jaden and Chandler get to talk through a

Steamroller that Jaden played in with Infernals with his first thoughts on

the faction and most especially Agathon!

This is it, our first tentative steps into the triple digits! Unfortunately Bret has escaped to europe somewhere so it’s just Jaden and Chandler, but we talk a bit about news, events, new releases, and spend a bit of time talking about a Patron’s Khador pairing. Then, it’s on to a series of great listener questions! We discuss the meta, “forgotten” casters, what is great and what isn’t in Hearts of Darkness, and many more listener-generated topics. Thanks so much for all the support over the last hundred episodes, and we look forward to making many more!

Bret and Chandler take on the newest, fanciest, wingiest releases in WarmaHordes: the various deific Archons! We go over each one, talk a bit about what it does and how it might fit into the armies where they’re available, and Bret brings the salt to tell us why the Primal Archon is the worst of them all. Stay tuned next week for our ONE HUNDREDTH episode!

Today we do a deep dive on the step by step process of building lists with infernals. What are the main priorities in list building, what kind of things in list building need to be thought ahead on for when it hits the table, and what are the main thinks to keep in mind both playing with and against this strange new faction. It’s a long one, so buckle up!

On Episode 97 of Line of Sight, Jaden and Chandler sit down with the winner

of our Cedar Rapids Fundraiser bid to come on the podcast! We chat a bit

about his meta and how he’s turned the Manitoba meta from a tiny group to a

thriving community. Definitely worth a listen, and a huge thank you to him

for his donation to the charity event!

On Episode 96 of Line of Sight, Sabra joins Bret and Jaden to recap Brets

painting journey since the first painting episode back in April. We talk

about what he has learned, what he has enjoyed, the things that he has

succeeded at, and what he wants to improve in the future. To get the most

out of this episode, you might want to check out this article (the imgur

gallery at the end has all of Brets pics that we discuss in the show) and

the four attached pictures here are ones that we discuss in the cast as

well!

Chandler takes the lonely helm today, bringing along Ryan O'Connor, winner of the recent Warfaire Weekend Wildcard qualifier in Salt Lake City to talk about the games, the event, and the meta!

On Episode 94 of Line of Sight, Jaden, Chandler and Bret dissect a Patreon

submitted list pairing and then Bret goes to bed while Jaden and Chandler

go through the remaining Infernal models left over from Infernals part 1!

This week, Jaden sits down for a nice one-on-one chat with the winner of

the NorCal Classic 2019 - Geoffrey Zak! We discuss his lists, his games,

his thoughts on Grymkin in general, and have a great time. Huge thanks to

him for being willing to come on, and big congratulations on the win!

We talk briefly about his amazing laser engraved wooden Arcana Cards

towards the end of the cast. Here is a pic of the set he did for Jaden in

Cherry Wood. Message LoS (or Geoff directly!) if you are interested in

owning a set of these amazing things.

Also, we are still waiting to hear from Nicholas Alexander and Bailey

Cramer about the previous quarterly raffles - get ahold of us please!

On this episode of Line of Sight, Chandler and Bret hail our new Infernal overlords by starting the process of going over how the faction works, their rules, and some ideas on how to both play and fight against them. Come back next week, where we finish going over the list of models and add a bit more tactical insight!
