Pepperoni Chips

Ingredients

1 package of sliced pepperoni

Grated parmesan, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, etc.

Directions

Place pepperoni slices on a plate covered in a few layers of paper towels.  Lay pieces of pepperoni in rows in a single layer, not touching, on the paper towel. Microwave for 1 minute (watching carefully).  If the pieces of pepperoni don’t look “dry”, microwave again in 15 second spurts until they look dry.  Remove from microwave and sprinkle with cheese and/or seasonings of your choice.  Allow to completely cool and enjoy the crunchy goodness!

This Weekend in Hedonism (Segment 3)

Cheryl’s Recipe Corner

Ingredients

24 slices deli honey-roasted ham

6 slices swiss cheese

1/3 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon poppy seeds

1-1/2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 tablespoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

6 Sandwich buns of your choice (Kings Hawaiian Slider Rolls are suggested, but any sub or split rolls will work as well)

Directions

Spread mayo onto both interior sides of the bun. Place a few slices (4) of ham and some Swiss (1) cheese on the bottom of each roll, place the top of the bun on top of that and place them very closely each other in a baking pan.  In a medium bowl, whisk together poppy seeds, Dijon mustard, melted butter, onion powder and Worcestershire sauce.  Pour sauce over the rolls, just covering the tops. Cover with foil and let sit for 10 minutes.  Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted.  Uncover and cook for another 5 minutes until tops are slightly browned and crisp.  Serve warm!
