Calkins shares some of the spots that a panel of over 70 MBA students decided were the most memorable and successful.

Deborah Conroy, DuPage County Board Chair, joins Lisa Dent to discuss the proposal to remove former congressman, Henry Hyde’s name from the DuPage courthouse. Henry Hyde was a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives representing the 6th District of Illinois. The proposal cited the Hyde Amendment, introduced by Hyde in 1976, that prohibits the use of federal funds to pay for abortions, as the reason for the proposal’s introduction.

Dr. Hermene Hartman, Chicago media pioneer and founder of N’Digo, joins Lisa Dent to talk about the proposed pardon of former governor Rod Blagojevich. Later, Hartman discussed her forthcoming article about the movie The Apprentice and her thoughts on the real life people depicted in the film.
